UC Speaks Up

UC Speaks Up is a public health research initiative to understand and prevent sexual violence, sexual harassment, intimate partner violence and other forms of gender-based discrimination among students, staff and faculty across the University of California (UC).

Interpersonal violence is prevalent on college and university campuses and students who are exposed are less likely to achieve full health and well-being, during college and beyond. School campuses should be environments that foster health, promote safety, and prevent relationship violence before it occurs. College campuses should advance students, not hinder their potential for success.

We strive to improve the health, safety and well-being of all UC community members through education, research and community
partnership.
